Hot-melt Glue Gun
Hot-melt glue guns are frequently used on modern upholstery for the fitting of trimmings such as fringing and rouching. They achieve a perminant finish without fixings that show. The beauty of this type of glue is that it sets on cooling: It's only necessary to hold the fixed items for a couple of minutes until set.
The job must be carried out in seconds before the glue starts to cool. It's best to plan out the job in advance, because you'll need somewhere safe to place the gun directly after application (due to heat and seepage), so that your hands are free to position and hold the job. The gun and glue are very hot and the same care should be given as when using a hot iron. The gun remains hot for some time after use. The gun comes with 2 glue sticks to start you off. This gun takes the standard 11mm type glue stick.
